1. Your Privacy Choices
RoamXP is device-first. Optional Apple or Google sign-in enables a RoamXP account (Supabase Auth) and Cloud Save for selected progress and user content. Your main controls are local app settings, Apple or Google system permissions, marketing preferences when signed in, and contacting us with privacy or deletion requests.

2. Local Data
Much personal and user-created data stays on your device—including journal photos and journal audio, which are device-local and not included in Cloud Save. Focus / Screen Time selections and tokens also remain device-only.
Where available in the app, you can delete data using local controls. Uninstalling RoamXP removes installed local app data from that device, subject to platform backup behavior. Local app data may also be included in device backups depending on your settings. Deleting the app does not guarantee that every copy is permanently erased from every backup.
3. Optional Account and Cloud Save
Creating an account is optional. When signed in with Cloud Save enabled, RoamXP may automatically back up allowlisted progress such as XP, goals, rewards, quest/campaign state, journal text, workout and nutrition logs, and related saved user content.
You can manage account and Cloud Save settings in the app when Accounts features are available (Profile → Settings → Account & Cloud Save).
4. Apple and System Permissions
You can control system permissions for RoamXP in iOS or Android Settings. Where applicable, that may include:
- Health (iOS HealthKit step read)
- Photos
- Microphone
- Notifications
- Screen Time / Family Controls (iOS Focus features)
Disabling a permission may limit the related RoamXP feature.
5. Product Analytics
RoamXP currently uses PostHog for limited anonymous or pseudonymous product analytics. Current configuration does not use identify()/alias() account stitching. The PostHog project is configured to discard client IP data.
RoamXP does not send journal content, raw HealthKit steps, Screen Time selections/tokens, notification bodies, full store receipts, or precise GPS location to PostHog.
6. Marketing Email
Marketing email consent defaults to OFF. When signed in and the control is available, you can opt in or out in Account & Cloud Save settings. Cloud Save does not require marketing opt-in.
7. Advertising & Tracking
RoamXP currently does not include advertising SDKs, does not use IDFA for advertising tracking, does not use app data for cross-app advertising tracking, and does not sell personal information for advertising.
8. Privacy and Deletion Requests
You may contact roamxp@puzdev.com for privacy questions or requests. To request account and Cloud Save deletion without using the app, use the Account Deletion page. A web email is a verified request process, not an automatic instant wipe.
